Visitor Tee Time Booking – Payment & Security
Visitor tee time bookings at Forfar Golf Club are facilitated through the Club’s online booking system provided by Intelligent Golf. This website enables visitors to book and pay for tee times online using a valid credit or debit card.
All online payments are processed securely via Clear Accept, using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology. When making a payment, users are directed to a secure payment form hosted by Clear Accept. Upon successful completion of a transaction, an email confirmation will be issued to the payer detailing the booking.
Forfar Golf Club shall not be held responsible for:
• Any issues arising from the use of the online booking or payment facility
• Any discrepancies in amounts processed or credited via the payment system
• Any technical issues associated with third-party providers, including Intelligent Golf or Clear Accept

Online Booking Terms & Conditions of Use
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Forfar Golf Club website and online tee time booking system (“Online Booking System”).
By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept them, you will be unable to proceed with a booking.
1. Making a Booking
1.1 All tee time bookings must be made online via the Forfar Golf Club “Book a Tee Time” system.
1.2 The individual making the booking (the “Lead Booker”) is responsible for ensuring that all booking details provided are accurate and complete. Forfar Golf Club accepts no liability for errors in submitted information.
1.3 Upon submission of a booking and successful payment, a confirmation email will be issued detailing the tee time and applicable green fees.
1.4 All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once full payment has been received.
1.5 Forfar Golf Club reserves the right to adjust tee times by up to one hour where operationally necessary. Every effort will be made to notify customers in advance.
1.6 Bookings of fewer than four players may be combined with other golfers to maximise tee time utilisation.
2. Payment
2.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking. No tee time will be reserved without payment in full.
2.2 Payment must be made via a valid debit or credit card through the Online Booking System.
2.3 All green fees are set by Forfar Golf Club and are subject to change without prior notice.
2.4 Where bookings are made via third parties, additional charges (including VAT where applicable) may apply.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
3.1 A full refund will only be issued if the booking is cancelled within 7 working days of making the payment (the “grace period”).
3.2 After the 7-day grace period has expired, all bookings are strictly non-refundable, regardless of cancellation reason.
3.3 All refunds will be processed in Sterling (£). Forfar Golf Club is not responsible for any exchange rate differences or bank charges applied by third-party providers.
4. Availability & System Access
4.1 Forfar Golf Club does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the website or Online Booking System.
4.2 Access may be temporarily restricted for maintenance, updates, or operational reasons.
4.3 Forfar Golf Club accepts no responsibility for any additional costs incurred by users when accessing the system (including internet or service provider charges).
5. Liability
5.1 The website and Online Booking System are provided without warranties or guarantees of any kind.
5.2 Forfar Golf Club shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the system.
5.3 All golfers play at their own risk. Forfar Golf Club accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage resulting from failure to exercise due care on the course.
5.4 Forfar Golf Club is not responsible for the content or reliability of any external websites linked from its platform.
6. Course Operations
6.1 Forfar Golf Club reserves the right to amend, suspend, or close the course or specific facilities due to weather, maintenance, competitions, or other operational requirements.
6.2 In such circumstances, the Club will endeavour to offer an alternative tee time, where possible. If an alternative tee time cannot be accommodated, a full or partial refund in sterling will be issued to the original credit or debit card used to make the booking.
7. Termination of Use
7.1 Forfar Golf Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Online Booking System at any time without prior notice.
7.2 The Club may refuse or cancel any booking where there is evidence of misuse, breach of these Terms, or inappropriate conduct.
8. General
8.1 If any provision within these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
8.2 Forfar Golf Club reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website.
8.3 The user is responsible for ensuring they are aware of the current Terms and Conditions at the time of booking.
8.4 Forfar Golf Club reserves the right to decline any booking at its sole discretion.
9. Buggy Use
9.1 Buggy availability is limited and subject to course conditions and operational requirements.
9.2 Use of buggies may be restricted to authorised users and must be arranged in advance through the Club.
